Goodbye last day of 2007 and HELLO eve of 2008.

Let's talk about 2007 and stuff.

I started 2007 with a fever I remembered. Took a cab down to Clarke Quay to meet the gang despite the temperature and had a beer or two. Woke up with temperature and hangover. Spent the first few hours of 2007 getting drunk and getting a cab.

And then school start. Second semester of first academic year wasn't too friendly. Still hated 3D, and everything else became tougher by a notch. But it was ceteris paribus mannn, schoolwork became tougher, procrastination became harder to fight, hall stuff were getting to me. In that view, school work became a super villian. But I still came up with works that I really like before summer break came about. Remember the gardenful doodles and the hockey lomo video and the bright lights presentation.

Came summer break, it was super shanghai, that oriental pearl place. I CAN STILL REMEMBER THE TASTE OF A PLUS STAR XIAO LONG BAOS! Eye-opener, truly. Never really expect myself to have so much fun in an asian city. It was intersem, taking Japanese? Ooh, mistake. Or maybe not so much, considering I found my sidekick then. I got seduced and bewitched and scored a lousy grade for my intersem. With superme's amazing 5 year old drawings, sidekick scored a B for his whatever electricity paper. Who pulled who down seriously? Oh ya, I will not forget the endless mahjong sessions. Seriously, I've never played so much mahjong in my entire life before. It was seriously insane but totally fun. And the 3 long days that seemed forever when me and huans started shifting to our new rooms. Every 3 trips equals to a game of mahjong which also means a 3 hour break after every half hour trips.

And came pre-OC and OC. Ooh, really fun days. Pure brainless activities. Shortie Kenji stayed over during pre-OC and hung his undies along the corridor, that I will never forget. Or maybe I shouldn't have publicized. Okay and so I was stressing over my inability to remember chinese cheers, or maybe it was my inability to sound normal in non-english cheers. Came days of the camp, the cedarian in me kinda revived, cheers came to me at a decent flow. It was really fun to the maximum spiders times ten, from day zero me and tian splashing paint last minute on our OG identities to day five, having nasi with our freshies talking about our 5 days experience that really felt like 2 years. I still have not forgetten how I think OC is a conspiracy to kill me. Refer to earlier entries alright? The degree of devotion to hall, I became programmer for OC and director for SP the coming year, that's kinda cool and I'm proud of. Vs up.

School had to commence all over again. But it was interesting. Started off rather focus until I got my assignments all wrong and it started to sink from there, kinda showed when I got back my results yesterday. AT LEAST I DIDN'T FAIL ASIAN ART HISTORY. Pathetic, but well-deserved, so I'm not exactly complaining. Work hard next semester, not just me, everyone else too. Oh yes, I'm blessing everyone. Especially you sidekick. Maths 4, hello? Maths 4.

Let's talk a lil about christmas. Mount Faber with sidekick and amanda and jason. I paid money to watch pasar malam lights. HAHA and cheesey dance. It was cornily amusing. But the cable car point and ride were the pluses. Dinner with my royals was good. Most I haven't seen for quite some time. I enjoyed myself other than the ribs were lousy. Christmas eve with my parents, good food, yums. I say that cos I'm gonna compare it with the Christmas day dinner with sidekick. Hahahaha. Failed rosti, chopped up salmon, over cooked beef, undercooked pasta with insufficient bacon, processed soup. It was a lot of food. I still blame sidekick for the failed dinner. Haha, I don't screw up dinner menus. Bleah. But you know I enjoyed myself, heh. I almost collapsed after eating please. It's how christmas is supposed to be, okay other than dissing santa as a tool of devil. It's not like we turned up for service we can't judge. Anyhow, beside the religious aspect, it's meant to be cosy and warm and all about the homecooked food. Christmas, success. Present, semi-success.

Oh ya, and my sidekick. Thank goodness for you! I was hidden in darkness, walking blindly, drowning in cosmos...ah kidding, you wish. I'm still sore you only had a bite of the chocolate cheesecake that I skipped lecture and took pains to buy and carry it back on your birthday, OH SORE. Remember 17th day's broccoli? Ho ho ho! Our relationship is built on immense annoyance and irritance attacks. Okay, the nice lil sweeter stuff shall be kept in a jar inside me.

A few resolutions to still keep in mind. Hey, my new year resolutions normally work out well. Do better in school. Lose some weight. I can't decide whether to annoy sidekick more or less and whether to watch more shows or less. Discover more too. Discovery is an important tool.

All in all, 2007 became perfect when that blue horse (now grey) stepped onto my laptop.
