the favourite show, chungking express


when the sun is shining brightly, you'll never know when it's gonna rain.

I've watched this film at least thirty times. My favourite film, my favourite director. Chungking Express and Wong Kar Wai. I found my love for bright lights through him, through his film, through Christopher Doyle as well. A film about finding love in corners and silly, simple ways. Why are there expiry dates? How do you remember something forever? The city's not so fast sometimes, if you're willing to slow down.
