As I enter my wonderful wonderland of music, I'll tell you about it.

I like brit rock. I've always like brit rock. I love brit rock. I only need brit rock. I only want brit rock.

Many say that rock is losing its magic. Maybe it's not as glamorous as before but they're songs of longevity. I do like new bands that are emerging. Oh friends please take some time away to check these bands. The Doves, The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian. They're my new found love for now. They are the reasons that I still buy CDs. Anyway Garbage released a new album, getting it soon I hope.

What do you listen to? Your taste for music says a lot.

Somebody told me I'm a sucker for heavy drum and bass in rock music. I never really notice that actually. Most of the time it's just the music that draws my attention. What kind? I don't know. Outsiders just observe I guess. My special relationship with music. It's like people don't you think? Different songs of different bands brings out different sides of people. Some you eventually fall in love with, some you grow tired of, some you dislike and make enemy with and the list goes on. Some genre, some type, different individuals.

Today I plan my escape route. Run away to a place that I can just listen.

I have my stubborn side. I prefer Radiohead to Coldplay. I prefer Blur to Oasis. I prefer The Strokes to Franz Ferdinand. There are days I like Maroon 5, Five for Fighting, Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys. Days that you need a getaway. There is still the radio and Justin Timberlake. I give credit to pop for the popularity and the groupies. Kylie Minogue never looked better. Being commercialised isn't that bad sometimes I think. What's the big fuss? Music is music. U2's still U2. I'm not talking about their lives, I'm not gonna be their friend I don't see the point of criticising their attitude and their 101 scandals. If their music crashed because of being commercialised, maybe you're just not good enough.

I like this indie American (I think they're american) band called Broken Social Scene. I don't exactly condemn american music, I do like Justin Timberlake. I heard their song on Queer As Folk Season 3 Episode 18. Lol! It was the Bryan and Justin scene, I remember. That sounded rather brit though.

And my useless ranting brought me to my last point, support the local scene. Cheers. I love Electrico. Big time, seriously. Yeah, get me to be your key to great music. My proud love.
