I have to exclaim something, summer has stirred up my first love. Hahaha.
Okay when superme was in primary hmm 4 I think, I discovered Japanese band GLAY on a HK comic magazine in Singapore. Hahaha, well ya, all those countries are added for small world effect. Anyhow, so I had this huge thing for Jiro, the bassist of the band. Well, hmmm some of my close friends would probably remember that period. Oh yes superme. Anyhow, I was absolutely in love with jiro for like hmm till sec 2 or 3. Well once in a while I still listen to his radio show buggy night crash to hmm review my nihonjin. Then okay Dir en grey came along with Kaoru I kinda forgot about GLAY especially the newer albums (after hmm can't remember the names already the last I bought was the white glow in the dark one) weren't that appealing. Anyhow, jiro is one idol that I had for the longest time ever. So that's like my first love which brings about the next point.
So my dear lil friend summer threw superme this drama serial and stated that SUPERME HAS TO WATCH IT. I seldom watch chinese shows cos hmm I have a bad habit of reading subtitles and I read chinese very slowly so if I watch any chinese shows, I probably only catch half because by the 2nd half they would have moved on to the next line. I kinda like HK shows cos they're always super exciting but taiwanese hmm really seldom cos THEY ARE FRIGGIN SLOW! The last time when someone I think it's my sis threw me that meteor garden I almost shot myself because everyone is moving in snail pace and considering like taiwanese speak so friggin fast normally. Okay I know the show came out a while ago but yeah I finally watch it, it's Hana Kimi? OMG THE XIUYI GUY LOOKS LIKE JIRO SO MUCH! Okay, as a perfectly normal behaving fan girl, I went to wiki Hana Kimi, looked for their characters and he's called Jiro? Jiro Wang? OMG! HE IS LIKE TALL VERSION OF JIRO! OH swoooooon. The resemblance is uncanny. It's like Jiro speaking in mandarin. HOHOHO! Another language that I take longer to understand but still faster than Japanese. Okay too exaggerated, my mandarin is decent, just like 2 seconds slower than others when it's not spoken in the singaporean way.
And so I figured this Jiro Wang really thinks he looks like my jiro so he named himself jiro? So I was swooning about him to summer and she told me yea he's a jrock/GLAY fan. Kinda poseur yes no? I mean if I look like hmmm. Oh I know if Teru looks like Dick Lee, shouldn't he call himself Dick? (ah inside joke, only pam will understand) Ah, but it's nice seeing jiro again, hmm in another version. Hahaha. Oh talking about resemblance. You know that wu zun, yes I think everybody knows him but I just got to know him la, so ya here goes. HE LOOKS LIKE YONG XIANG NO!?!?!!?!!? While watching the show I was like aye..it's yongxiang lor. Come on. Now that I've finished the show, I still think so. You people go check it out and tell me, ya it's yong xiang. Hahahaha.
Okay now to point of the show I have exclaimed to many about my disturbance. THE BASIS OF THE STORY IS QUITE FREAKY NO!? A girl watches tv and saw the guy on and decides to look for him in taiwan and get to know him and see him in action? And turns out they are roommates. And when the girl confided in a dog that and he overhead it HE IS TOUCHED!? WHY IS HE TOUCHED!? DEAR MISTER YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID, VERY AFRAID. YOU SHOULD BE FREAKED OUT COS THAT'S CREEPY! *breathes* Well other than that and the slow pace, it's quite a funny show. Though I wanted to bang my head during the last episode. It really feels like reading the comic, kinda. Ya there's some sort of manga feel towards it.
