OKAY I MEANT TO UPDATE MY BLOG FOR THE LONGEST TIME. My schedule has been packed to the maximum spiders, I have been stressed to the maximum spiders, it still is. I know should be churning out the one million process books BUT I JUST WANNA SLACK A LIL TODAY. A lot has happened since feb, especially these 2 weeks, BREAKNECK. A sec of slacking will kill, I SWEAR. I post up some visuals real soon I hope, because lately had been a huge deal of satisfaction and fun.

Anyhow ELITE's over kinda long ago, so shan't talk about it anymore. It was tiring, though I was in the car.

Let's talk about schoooooooooool. Finally finally, gotten rid of Fading Tradition. Not quite cos I have not handed up the process book just yet. Anyhow, the final crit was insanely stressful. The panel made up of deborah, jesvin, astrid, martin and ong and this vp of the firm which deb spoke too fast. Nobody in class got it cos we kinda sang a birthday song for during the break. Deborah made fantastic cupcakes anyway, KILLER CHOCOLATE.

Back to the crit. For one, the comp was so friggin far from the panel? I had to employ lam to help me click my slides which was quite worrying cos I prepared the slides till the very last minute, I had no idea what came first. Anyhow I busted the wallet printing all the materials for the crit but were all rejected when I met deborah for consultation the day before. There were still tweaking left to do. ARGH. Knowing production sucks big time, I bought poster paper for emergency, so phew. BUT FRIGGIN PRINTER JUST WON'T PRINT IN THE FRIGGIN PACKED OPEN LAB. Blah, after a day of struggling everything was up but I was still worried about my foreigners campaign. It's swears by originality which I can get quite lame at, so I'm quite worried. And when I found out it was martin&ong on the panel I nearly died. Themes, research and customising were their thing, I AM SO DEAD. Brief intro, my fading trad was chinese opera. Campaign for locals was a range of cosmetics and for foreigners was a theme hotel suite. Final crit from the panel. *crossing fingers and drumroll* MARTIN GAVE THUMBS UP! OMFG, all the hard work and seemingly endless research paid off. Jesvin love the concepts, astrid had class during my turn so yup but after that when she came back she said she love the space design, deborah was happy for me cos I was panicking the day before the final. Woo~ Okay so ong asked me a question, why did I use DIN throughout? The truth is I was doing type spec for jesvin and kept falling in love with the typeface. But friggin, I said something like cos it looks new but has a long history, with a contemporary touch. It reflects my project, trying to bring back this fading tradition to something new and hip. Martin was impressed saying I thought about these details and jesvin was clapping behind, it was hilarious. I told deborah, A+star k? Haha.

Next up, Designed Experiences. Okay sadly by the time I post this, my favourite class has come to an end, but with a bigbigbigbig bang. Though the excitement is kinda gone, lets update a lil. Me and karen threw a black and white party for the class before our fieldtrip a few weeks back and everyone was pleasantly surprised, especially Lena cos she had a rough day. Oooh, astrid said it was chic and sophisticated. Haha Wheee! I love it that it was designed till the very last detail, oh love love love.

Okay I have huge episodes to talk about DE and typo. Back to work first. RAWR!
