Any takers? Wayne Thunder, the drummer from The Suns passed away weeks back. A tribute concert is held in his name to celebrate his life and contribution to the local rock scene. I was never a big fan, but the tunes I heard so far, they were good. This is gonna be a good act.

Some bitchy small talk. Whoever said that college is a good college should have a stash of my foot in his ass. Ah, no names mentioned. I get the GPA system sorta, a cruel truth for the unlucky, not-so-studious undergrads. What I don't get about this GPA thing, this yanks system, this college adopt it in 2006 when the yanks admitted that it is a lousy system to measure academic abilities after 10 years (was it 10?) in function. I thought we were supposed to learn from mistakes??? Who? Huh? Whaaaat? Should attendance play a bigger part? How about class participation? How about theory and papers are just a load of bullshit? Maybe electives shouldn't meddle so much with things that may actually matter on the piece of paper that states our specialisation? Gees, I speak from the point of an undergrad that hardly takes a paper and made to take modules that hardly matter to my degree. Yes, it's nice to know about science and maths, BUT NOT THAT MUCH!?

Another bitchy small talk. College authorities are truly a letdown. Who should stay in dormitories? Piorities for locals or foreigners? Or a balance would be nice, maybe? WRONG! Dorms are meant for foreigners! Oh it's not like they have to take a plane down to attend their lectures and tutorials. Isn't it more convenient for them to rent a place near college than to have locals rent a place near college and away from home (you know it's like, I'm not that far from home to live out but I'm gonna be late for school everyday if I travel like that)? Convinced about the distance points? No, not at all! Okay, maybe end of the day, we'll get our way but what about now? Why are doing all these uneccessary work then? Maybe, we could have spent the time consolidating the recommendation lists on studying. That would be nice, wouldn't it? Hall culture is a bizarre thing.

Very messed-up, disorganised systems. My sis warned me that my school sounds disorganised. Turns out fine, but boy, she wasn't too far from wrong either.

Anyhow, I still gotten my single room.
