Neil Gaiman. Current dig. I can so run out to borders right now to buy Stardust. Like someone said, I don't want to fail my prelims. Haha.
My review on Gaiman's Neverwhere. It's a book that you wouldn't want to put down. (If I haven't got As, I'll stay at my couch to finish it straight. Hmpf!) How shall I put it, it's a fantasy that's not too far-fetch. I mean it's set in modern London. Far fetch I meant LOTR far. The city you live in, there's actually an Underside. And many characters that are far beyond your imagination roam this city. It's like the City of God where barter trade do work and everything can be dangerous. Like all fantasy books, the quest is kinda like the main plot. But the characters in the book is the story itself. Okay I wouldn't say this is actually a fantasy book. It's more like you're flipping a graphic novel in text form. Oh and the gender of this book is male. You feel dirty and smelly all the time. So, yup 5 stars for this book.
I can't wait to read Anansi Boys by Gaiman. It kinda remind me of Big Fish. Heyheyhey!
